Hello! I’m Liz McGregor, fully qualified Nutritional Therapist, Naturopath and Wellbeing Coach. I’ve been talking to people about nutrition and health since my twenties and after consulting in the corporate world, turned my true passion into a new career, running my own online practice. I love helping men and women to transform their lives, from struggling with chronic ill health, to feeling energised, letting the weight go and getting their life back. Often I can help them work with their doctors to get off their medications.

At least 2 out of every 3 adults are living with one or more misery-causing illnesses such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, weight issues, gut issues, skin issues, long Covid, and auto-immune conditions.

I saw my father start with a heart attack in his forties, my mother develop rheumatoid arthritis in her fifties and both of them having had their gall bladders removed by their sixties. This was seen as normal.

I had my own health issues too, which began at age 6 weeks when, after putting me onto formula, I developed chronic eczema, asthma and food allergies.

By my twenties I realised that conventional medicine wasn’t going to be the solution for me. The creams, pills and inhalers could barely keep my conditions under control, and I was miserable. I began researching complementary methods for eczema and allergies.

In the process, I learned the fundamentals on about just about every other chronic, hard-to-treat condition out there.

It took me fifteen years of my own research, and many unsuccessful attempts, until I had the courage to try a more radical solution for my own issues.

But when I did…

I fixed my own health problems in fifteen days!

I discovered that the “radical” techniques I had used were part of the long history of Nutritional Therapy and Naturopathy traditions, so as soon as I could, I trained formally, and I’m still learning from the latest research, practically every day.

Now, my passion is to not only to help other people avoid what me and my family went through with years of chronic ill health, but to help people heal themselves from almost any condition when they no longer thought healing was possible.

So, here are my four quick tips to start to help you regain your health.

  1. Go low carb – ditch the breads, pastas, rice, potatoes, sugars and fruit juices
  2. Eat more healthy proteins such as fish, eggs, meat, poultry, beans, nuts and seeds
  3. Fill half your plate with as many different colourful vegetables as you can find
  4.  Enjoy healthy fats – olive oil, butter, ghee, coconut oil, walnut or flaxseed oil

“But what about the saturated fats?” I hear you ask, and “Aren’t eggs bad for my cholesterol?”

If you want to be able to eat a good fry-up again, while still letting the weight go and getting your health and energy back, then talk to me.

I can answer all those questions and more.

I’m bringing out a new online programme called Get Healthy For Life. This tackles the root causes of chronic health conditions and helps men and women enjoy what they eat while letting go of spare weight, have the energy to play with their children and get back to enjoying life again.
